Essay On WHAT I AM DOING TO BECOME A GOOD CITIZEN

Introduction

A citizen is one who has common interest with others. He lives with others in the same place and under the same government. Because I am the citizen of Gwalior, I take interest in its affairs.

The Importance of duty for a man

I know well that to have a right is one thing and to enjoy it in a proper way is another. So I care more of my duties than my rights. I always try to increase the happiness of my companions. Being a student of tenth class I remove the difficulties of my younger bretheren in school time. By helping them in their studies. I add something to their knowledge. My only motive is to see my school companions better and happier than they are now.

The duties that I do in school

I am doing my best to do my duties well. I follow the laws of my school. I help my teachers to carry on the administration of the school. In my classroom I am always on the side of right boys. I help the class teacher to carry on the administration of the school. In my classroom I am always on the side of right boys. I help the class teachers in tracing the mischief mongers. I never neglect needy and good students. I always give up my inerest for the good of my dear school.

What I do outside the school?

Outside the school compound I also act as a good citizen. On the road I follow all the rules of the road. I try to avoid quarrels with others every where. I make use of every opportunity of serving the town. I work as a Volunteer on all occasions. I prepare to do my duty in the administrative of the town.

I always respect the rights of others. I think it my noble duty to help those who are weaker than me. I help the weak to serve the noble cause. As a student I do happily all the jobs which my teachers, parents and the elderly people ask me to do. I am always selfless. At home or at school I am always meek. I receive instructions with all meekness. I never lose any opportunity to show my gratitude. To be a good citizen I always apply myself close to my studies because a good knowledge tells us our rights and duties.

Conclusion

To act as an ideal citizen let us do justice to our duty to educate ourselves. Good knowledge is very necessary to know our duties in detail. Ignorance is a curse for a good citizen.
