- Secured premium notes SPN with detachable warrants,
- Equity share with detachable warrants,
- Preference shares with warrants,
- Zero interest fully convertible debentures,
- Fully convertible debentures with interest,
- Fully convertible cumulative preference shares,
- Non-convertible debentures with detachable equity
- Option warrants,
- Bond with warrants,
- Zero interest bonds,
- Deep discount bonds.
The Pherwani Study Group has suggested the following new instruments:
- Participating Preference Shares,
- Participating Debentures,
- Debt for Equity Swap,
- Convertible Debentures with Options,
- Third Party Convertible Debentures,
- Convertible Debentures Redeemable at Premium.
Besides the above instruments, the Abid Hussain Committee has suggested the following instruments:
- Floating Rate Notes,
- Clip and Strip Bonds,
- Stepped Coupon Bonds,
- Dual Convertible Bonds,
- Extendable Notes,
- Index Rate Notes,
- Level Pay Floating Rate Notes,
- Community Bonds,
- Industrial Revenue Bonds,
- Level Pay Floating Rate Notes.
